Sa'adu Zungur University Council Appoints Acting Bursar, Promotes Staff

The Governing Council of Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU), Bauchi, has approved the appointment of Malam Ibrahim Abdullahi as Acting Bursar, effective August 28, 2025. The Council also promoted eight academic staff, including three to the rank of Professor and five to the rank of Reader.

Additionally, two administrative staff were promoted: Hajiya Munira Sagir to Deputy Registrar and Mr. Labaran Ibrahim to Deputy Bursar. The promotions take effect from October 1, 2024.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Fatimah Tahir, congratulated the newly appointed and promoted staff, noting that the decisions reflect the University's commitment to merit, excellence, and institutional growth.
