Senator Yemi Adaramodu Commends NYSC for Leadership Mentorship

Senator Yemi Adaramodu, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Youth Development, has praised the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Management for its role in mentoring and guiding Corps Members toward leadership responsibilities. The lawmaker also revealed ongoing efforts to secure Presidential assent for the NYSC Trust Fund. He appreciated the Scheme’s critical role in nation-building, youth empowerment, and infrastructural development.

Senator Yemi Adaramodu, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Youth Development, has praised the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Management for its role in mentoring and guiding Corps Members toward leadership responsibilities.

During a courtesy visit to the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, at the National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja, Adaramodu expressed his appreciation for the impactful role the NYSC plays in shaping the youth of the nation.

Reflecting on his own experience as a Corps Member in Ogun State, Adaramodu emphasized the pivotal role NYSC played in providing him with opportunities that propelled him forward in life. He urged Nigerian youths to aspire to leadership roles regardless of their circumstances, emphasizing the importance of embracing responsibilities and making a positive impact in society.

In response, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, the NYSC Director General, commended Senator Adaramodu for his significant contributions to the Scheme, dating back to his tenure as Chairman of the House Committee on Youth and Sports. Ahmed assured Adaramodu of the administration’s commitment to elevating the NYSC to new heights.
