Taraba State University Receives Prestigious Award for Academic Excellence

Taraba State University (TASU) has been honored with a meritorious award by the Southern Taraba Academics' Forum (STAF) in recognition of its outstanding achievements under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sunday Paul Bako.

The university achieved notable milestones, including:

- Professional accreditation for Accounting, Environmental Health, and the Faculty of Law

- 100% success in the National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation exercise for 53 programs

- Establishment of entrepreneurial and linkage initiatives

In addition, the institution appointed members of the forum to key positions, including:

- Dr. Jonathan Reuben as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration)

- Dr. Atando Dauda as Dean of Students' Affairs

- Dr. Beavens Ajiduku as Director of General Studies

- Prof. Elijah Akombo as Dean, Faculty of Arts
