Tragedy: Hit-and-Run Driver Kills Final Student of Taraba State University

A somber cloud descended upon Taraba State University on Saturday as news broke of a tragic hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of Joseph Afara, a final-year Mass Communication student widely known as "Paperboi" or "KingPaper."

Joseph Afara, a beloved member of the university community, met an untimely end as he ventured out to withdraw money sent to him at the Zenith Bank Road Block branch. His routine errand took a horrifying turn when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver.

Eyewitnesses at the scene recounted that the driver, attempting to access the Jalingo Motor Park, recklessly veered into the wrong lane, resulting in a fatal collision. The impact left Joseph gravely injured, and the driver swiftly fled the scene, leaving a trail of shock and sorrow.
