A truck carrying goats went out of control at Agbara and neighboring communities of Magbon and Oko Afor along the Badagry Expressway in Lagos witnessed a tragic incident on Friday, and collided with a bus transporting students who had just completed their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE).

Eyewitnesses recounted the horrifying sequence of events, stating that the truck driver attempted to flee the scene, causing chaos and destruction along the way. The truck reportedly veered off its course, knocking over multiple vehicles and causing panic among commuters.

Eye witnesses stated that the driver continued to accelerate in a bid to evade arrest, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. At Magbon Bus stop, approximately two kilometers after Agbara, the rampaging truck tragically struck students who were waiting to board commercial buses, resulting in severe injuries and fatalities.

"The reckless driver continued to Oko Afor Bus stop, where it crushed several cars and a fully loaded 18-seater Mazda bus," recounted eyewitnesses, highlighting the extent of the devastation caused by the out-of-control truck.

Authorities later intervened as operatives of the Nigeria Customs Service intercepted the truck at Elijah Bus stop. The driver's erratic behavior had raised suspicions, prompting the Customs operatives to intervene and apprehend him.
