A startling incident occurred in Ilorin, Kwara State, where a two-month-old baby named Usman Idris was reportedly abducted from his mother during a school graduation ceremony monitored by myschoolnews.

The distressing event took place around 3:00 pm on a Saturday at a school located in the Deeper Life area, Sawmill, Ilorin.

two weeks before the incident, the suspect, who claimed to be a Christian, had approached Sekinah, expressing a desire to learn snack-making. The unsuspecting mother, Sekinah, had kindly agreed to teach her.

"We attended the graduation ceremony together," shared Iya Mujidat. "Sekinah offered to look after Usman while I went with his older brother to collect his graduation certificate. Little did I know it would be the last time I saw her."

Despite not having any information about the suspect's family or contact details, Iya Mujidat promptly reported the case to the 'A' Division Police Station in Surulere, Ilorin.
