UCH Ibadan CMD, Professor Otegbayo, Honored with Excellence in Healthcare Governance Award

The Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo on Friday, December 5th, 2025 received the Excellence in Healthcare Governance Award at the 2025 edition of the Dove Healthcare Award.

The award, bestowed on the CMD was organised by the Dove Healthcare Foundation and was held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The theme of the award ceremony was "Excellence and Innovation in Healthcare: Strengthening Nigeria's Health System for Better Outcomes."

The Chief Medical Director , Prof. Otegbayo in his speech lauded the organisers of the award and urged stakeholders in the health sector to leverage the use of appropriate innovation to get the healthcare system on a strong footing.
