UI to Host Inspector General of Police
The University of Ibadan (UI) is preparing to host the Inspector General of Police, Dr. Olukayode A. Egbetokun, for the First Personality Lecture of the Tetfund Centre of Excellence in Multidisciplinary Studies.
The University of Ibadan (UI) is set to host the Inspector General of Police, Dr. Olukayode A. Egbetokun, NPM, fspsp, for the First Personality Lecture of the Tetfund Centre of Excellence in Multidisciplinary Studies. The lecture, titled "The Nigeria Police Force and the Management of Internal Security," will take place on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Trenchard Hall, starting at Noon.

As the Chief Host of the event, UI's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode O. Adebowale, mni, FAS, will welcome Dr. Egbetokun and attendees to the lecture. The Chairman of the occasion will be Professor A. A. B. Agbaje, a former Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic at UI. Additionally, Professor Babajide Owoeye, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Lead City University, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour.
