The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has issued a warning to the public regarding fraudulent activities by individuals falsely claiming to facilitate admission, hostel accommodation, or recruitment into the University in exchange for money or favours.

The University noted that these fraudsters circulate fake admission letters, cloned websites, fraudulent social media accounts, and make deceptive phone calls or messages to mislead candidates, parents, guardians, and job seekers.

UNIABUJA emphasised that all admission, accommodation, and recruitment processes are conducted strictly through official, transparent channels. No individual, agent, or third party is authorised to collect fees or favours on behalf of the University.
