The University of Calabar has announced the commencement of admissions into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme, describing it as the most reliable pathway to 200 Level entry.
The Registrar of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka Icha, has announced that the sale of admission forms into the UNICAL-JUPEB Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session is ongoing. She described the programme as “the best pathway” for candidates aspiring to gain direct entry admission into 200 Level at UNICAL and other partner universities.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the 10-month intensive foundational programme, which offers admission opportunities into the College of Medical Sciences, as well as the Faculties of Law, Computing, Biological Sciences, Engineering, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Sciences, Arts/Humanities, and Education.
The release highlighted that the UNICAL-JUPEB Programme does not require JAMB or Post-UTME for enrollment, as successful candidates are admitted directly into 200 Level upon completion.
Application forms are obtainable online at https://jupeb.unical.edu.ng/applicant/apply for a fee of ₦15,500, payable via ATM card, bank transfer, or at any commercial bank nationwide.
Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB or its equivalent.
