Basic Admission Requirements

Inclusive of the requirements is five credit passes at O’ Level, encompassing English, Mathematics, and other pertinent subjects.

Requirements for Masters’ and Postgraduate Diploma

Candidates vying for the Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma must hold a good (First or Second class) Honours Degree from the University of Jos or any other University recognised by the Senate of the University of Jos. The first degree must be in a discipline related to the prospective postgraduate programme.

M.Phil/Ph.D Admission Requirements

Candidates aspiring for the M.Phil/Ph.D programme must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline. In addition, M.Phil/Ph.D candidates must have achieved a Cumulative Score Average (CSA) of 60% and above in their final Master’s Degree assessment, and in their Research Project. Candidates will initially register for the M.Phil and based on satisfactory performance, may subsequently be upgraded to Ph.D registration.
