University of Lagos (UNILAG) seeks the services of strong marketing skills personnels who can promote market innovations, to fill the vacant position of Innovation Product Manager (IPM).

The Project Innovation to Market (I2M) at the University of Lagos seeks the services of a competent individual with strong marketing skills, who is passionate and willing to promote ready-for-market innovations, to fill the vacant position of Innovation Product Manager (IPM).

The ideal candidate should:

Have a demonstrable understanding of Commercialization and Technology Transfer Processes.

Have the ability to understand the technology he/she will be taking to the market .

In addition, the successful applicant will regularly liaise with players of relevant industries towards the commercialization of innovations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline is required.

Ability to demonstrate strong Marketing skills.

At least one (1) year of experience in a technically relevant role, e.g. Product Management, Product Development, Product Marketing, or a combination of the roles.

Experience working with Start-up Ventures, Joint Ventures, and Strategic Partnerships is required.

Excellent writing, communication and data management skills, with keen attention to details.

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
