Two esteemed scholars from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), hailing from the College of Medicine, Idi-Araba, have proudly represented Nigeria on the Strategic Planning Committee of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS), Africa Section. Professor Ademola Oremosu, a distinguished Neuroscientist from the Department of Anatomy, and Dr. Omolara Ojo, an Associate Professor and Consultant Neurologist in the Department of Medicine, participated in this significant gathering alongside top Neurologists and Neuroscientists from various African countries.

The momentous meeting took place at the Movenpick Hotel and Residences in Nairobi, Kenya, from April 27 to 28, 2024.
