The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has launched an investigation following the circulation of a viral video showcasing the dire living situation of a 300-level female student studying Biology Education at the institution.

Expressing deep concern for the student's welfare, the university management has reached out to the student and initiated efforts to address her living conditions.

In a statement issued by Adejoke Alaga-Ibraheem, Head of the Communication Unit, the university affirmed its commitment to supporting the welfare of its students and assured the public of swift action based on the investigation's findings.
