UNILAG Medical Students Enhance Skills in Adolescent- and Youth-Friendly Health Services at AHI Youth Centre
Nine 500-level medical students from the University of Lagos' College of Medicine (CMUL) recently participated in a specialized training at the AHI Youth Centre on adolescent- and youth-friendly health services.
In a proactive initiative, nine 500-level medical students from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL), visited the AHI Youth Centre to participate in a specialized training on adolescent- and youth-friendly health service provision. Hosted by Action Health Incorporated (AHI), the session included presentations, role-playing activities, and group exercises aimed at imparting crucial principles and fostering a deeper understanding of serving young people effectively.

Throughout the training, the students had the opportunity to examine their values and biases, gaining insights into the unique needs and challenges faced by adolescents and youth in healthcare settings. Commenting on the initiative, representatives from CMUL and AHI expressed confidence in the students' ability to apply their newfound knowledge in their academic pursuits and future careers. They extended best wishes for continued success in their studies.
