The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has given all students with incomplete personal records on the institution’s portal a one-week deadline to update their biodata.

The directive was contained in an internal memorandum signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Moji T. Bakare-Odunola. The University disclosed that several students’ records are missing critical information such as Date of Birth, State of Origin, and Local Government Area.

Following the directive, all Deans have been instructed to liaise with their respective Heads of Departments to identify affected students and ensure that the required documents are submitted within one week, effective from December 4, 2025.

Students are required to submit the following based on the nature of their biodata issues:

1. For Date of Birth discrepancies:

– National Identification Number (NIN) slip

2. For State of Origin or Local Government issues:

– A valid citizenship certificate

The memo further stated that all collated documents will be forwarded to the Faculty IT Officers, who are expected to resolve and update the affected records within 72 hours after departmental submission.
