UNIMAID Counselling Centre Hosts Capacity-Building Training for Staff and Career Stakeholders

The Counselling and Human Development Centre (CHDC) at the University of Maiduguri, in collaboration with Maihula Ltd., recently organized a capacity-building training aimed at strengthening the role of guidance and counselling within the institution.

The event, held on September 24, 2025, brought together staff of the Centre and career stakeholders to enhance their skills and deepen their understanding of counselling practices.

Professor Mburza highlighted that guidance and counselling is not just for students, but every individual, regardless of age or position, requires direction, support, and encouragement at some point.
