UNIMAID MSSN Launches Fundraising Campaign for Student's Life-Saving Surgery

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN), University of Maiduguri chapter, is seeking support for a fellow student, Khausar Saifullahi, who requires a life-saving surgery.

Khausar, a 23-year-old 400-level Biochemistry student, has been diagnosed with a collapsed T5 vertebra and spinal cord compression. He urgently needs a corpectomy of the T5 vertebra, along with the placement of a thoracic cage and two-level fixation with eight pedicle screws.

The estimated cost of the surgery is ₦1,540,000 (One Million, Five Hundred and Forty Thousand Naira), which Khausar cannot afford. MSSN is appealing for donations to support this critical surgery.
