UNIMAID releases update on Students, Union Government elections

The Students' Union Government Electoral Committee regrets to inform all students that the date and time for voting for the 2023 elections have been adjusted to Friday 26 May 2023 between 9.00am to 12.00 noon. The adjustment became necessary due to technical hitches revealed by the voting platform because of irregular registration by most of the contestants as well as a significant number of eligible voters.

Accordingly, all contestants are to approach the Students Affairs Division to have their registration details updated from Monday 22 May 2023 to Wednesday 24 May 2023.

The updated list of contestants would be released on Thursday 25 May 2023.

Meanwhile, all contestants are reminded that campaigning has ended.

The Committee regrets any inconvenience caused and assures of its commitment to have a credible election.
