UNIOSUN Medical Students Secure WAPCo Scholarships

In a statement issued by the university's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ademola Adesoji, the General Manager of Corporate Affairs at WAPCo, Dr. Isaac Adjei Doku, emphasized that the selection of the students was based on their outstanding academic performance. Each recipient was awarded a scholarship of N470,400 to cover various educational expenses, including tuition fees, books, and other ancillary costs related to their studies.

The Osun State University (UNIOSUN) in Osogbo has announced that two medical students from the College of Health Sciences, Akande Omowunmi Oluwaadamilare, and Efuwape Adedayo Seseyon, have been awarded scholarships totaling N940,812 by the West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo). This scholarship initiative is part of WAPCo's annual scholarship scheme for the 2023/2024 academic session.
