UNIOSUN Recruitment Test Disrupted by Server Hack

The recruitment test for teachers in Osun State faced disruption as a server glitch at Osun State University (UNIOSUN) impacted the process. The state had initiated the recruitment process to employ new teachers for public primary and secondary schools, with tests scheduled across 13 centers in Osun.
However, hitches emerged at two centers in Osogbo and Ikire towns, where the examination was disrupted due to the server glitch. Ademola Adesoji, the UNIOSUN PRO, attributed the disruption to hackers attempting to invade the university's servers. Consequently, the affected centers will have the tests rescheduled.

Despite the setback, Adesoji assured that the university took swift technical measures to prevent further breaches and expressed relief that the hackers' attempts to thwart the recruitment process were unsuccessful.
The incident underscores the challenges posed by cyber threats in educational assessments and the importance of robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard the integrity of recruitment processes.
