University of Abuja Achieves Outstanding NUC Accreditation

The University of Abuja (UofA) is pleased to announce a remarkable outcome in the recent National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation exercise, with all 26 presented academic programmes receiving accreditation.

Twenty-two programmes achieved full accreditation, while four received interim accreditation status.

The fully accredited programmes include Banking and Finance, Agriculture, Christian Religious Knowledge, English, Linguistics, Islamic Studies, Philosophy, Computer Science, and others. Meanwhile, Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Integrated Science received interim accreditation.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah, expressed his delight and appealed to the UniAbuja Branch of ASUU and academic staff to return to classes, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in achieving this success.
