University of Abuja Students Excel in Inter-University Mechanical Design Competition

Students from the University of Abuja have made their institution proud by securing second place in the Inter-University Mechanical Design Competition organized by the HEP-SSA 22/24 Project team at FUT Minna, Niger State.

The competition, which took place recently, saw participation from representatives of the University of Benin, Federal University of Technology, Minna, and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University. A panel of three experts from the UK judged the event.
The University of Abuja team won a cash prize of N200,000 and was congratulated by the acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, and other university officials, including the Bursar, Mrs Florence Ajagbonna; Project Team Lead, Prof I.M.Dagwa; Ag Dean of Engineering, Prof. I.I. Ozigis; HOD Mechanical Engineering, Dr Adiat I. Arogundade.
