University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) CPSS honours Gambari, Ali, Zulum, others

All is set for the conferment of Awards on selected distinguished Nigerians by the Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies, University of Ilorin, in recognition of their contributions to the promotion and sustenance of peace across Nigeria.

A statement made available to UNILORIN BULLETIN by the Director of the Centre, Prof. Abdulganiyu Ibrahim Jawondo, explained that the event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the University Main Auditorium beginning from 10:00 a.m.

Prof. Jawondo, who is a former Head of the Department of History and International Studies, said that the event would be presided over by a former Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Sulyman Olatunji Adeyemi, with the Governor of Kwara State and Chairman, Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, as the Special Guest of Honour. He added that the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, would be the Chief Host.
