University of Jos Students Now Eligible for Nigerian Education Loan Fund

The University of Jos has announced that students can now apply for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), a federal government initiative aimed at supporting students in tertiary institutions. About 1,500 University of Jos students have already benefited from the fund.

The loan is open to all Nigerian students in tertiary institutions, including those at the University of Jos.

Interested students are advised to visit the NELFUND portal  to register.

Students facing challenges during registration can seek assistance from the university's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) department.

 The loan covers tuition fees for students.

 Beneficiaries receive a monthly stipend of ₦20,000 to support living expenses.
