UNN Postpones First Semester Examinations for 2023/2024 Academic Session

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced the postponement of the first semester examinations for the 2023/2024 academic session. Originally scheduled to commence on July 29, the examinations will now begin on August 5 for departmental examinations, with inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary examinations starting on August 12.

The decision to postpone the examinations was communicated through a statement issued by Mrs. Empress A. Okoro, Deputy Registrar, Examinations. In the statement, students were informed about the revised dates and the ongoing process to finalize the examination timetable.

"This is to inform you that the 2023/2024 first semester examination earlier scheduled to start on July 29 have been postponed," Mrs. Okoro's statement read. "Departmental examinations will now commence on August 5, followed by inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary examinations starting on August 12."

Mrs. Okoro further emphasized the importance of faculty input regarding the draft examination timetable, urging faculty members to review and provide feedback on potential clashes and omissions by Friday, July 26. She stressed that the examination unit would not entertain reports on clashes or omissions after the final timetable is released on Monday, July 29.
