Though now it is in place and flourishing to the envy of other institutions, the struggle to establish the e-learning programme in the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) was dogged by a lot of challenges.

The struggle to establish the e-learning programme, personally led by the Vice-Chancellor of FULafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, at the initial stage had to contend with problems such as the unavailability of equipment and facilities for the successful commencement of the programme.

Recalling the challenges and how they were overcome, Abdul Rahman, recently, called on the academic staff of the University to use the experiences acquired during the process of introducing the e-learning programme in the University to solve both academic and community problems faced by the University.
