Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto Postpones Assessments Amid Fuel Crisis

Sokoto, Nigeria - The Division of General Studies at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has announced an indefinite postponement of its Continuous Assessment (CA) that was rescheduled to start on May 6th, 2024. This decision, conveyed in a memo from Dr. Sadat Ibn Adam, the Examinations Officer, comes as a direct response to the ongoing fuel scarcity affecting the region.

Initially, the CA was planned for April 29th to May 3rd but was moved due to the same issue. The fuel scarcity has continued to disrupt the daily commute for students and faculty, making it challenging to reach the examination venues.
