Yobe State University Medical Students Association Pays Courtesy Visit to New Provost

The Joint Executive and Senate Council of the Yobe State University Medical Students Association (YOSUMSA) paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Garba M. Ashir, the newly appointed Provost of the College of Medical Sciences, YSU, on June 17, 2025.

The visit was led by Comrade Haruna Gimba Ahmed, the Secretary-General of YOSUMSA, who congratulated Prof. Ashir on his appointment and expressed appreciation for his efforts in securing full accreditation for the medical program from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

The students' association acknowledged the tireless efforts of Prof. Ashir, his team, the university management, and the state government in achieving this milestone. The visit demonstrated the association's commitment to building a strong relationship with the college's leadership.
