Zamfara State Students Association Disclaims Affiliation with Impostor

 

The Zamfara State Students Association, Federal University Gusau Chapter, has issued a press release distancing themselves from Ibrahim Halilu Talban Damri, who has been impersonating as a representative of Zamfara state students.

According to the statement, Mr. Damri has been presenting himself as a spokesperson for the students in meetings with Senator AbdulAziz Yari, which the association vehemently denies. They emphasize that his actions do not reflect their values or official stance.

 

The association appreciates Senator Yari's intention to offer scholarships to 1,700 university students from Zamfara state and hopes that the selection process will prioritize qualified beneficiaries from underprivileged and indigenous families.

The statement was signed by Abubakar Sani Kwaren Ganuwa, Secretary General, and endorsed by other executive members.
