ABSU Announces Inter-Departmental Course Change for 2025/2026 Session
The management of Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu has released an official notice inviting applications for inter-departmental change of course for the 2025/2026 academic session. This policy provides students with the opportunity to realign their academic pursuits, subject to strict eligibility criteria and departmental approval.

- Students must have completed at least one academic session in ABSU.
- A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00 is required.
- Applications must be formally addressed to the Vice-Chancellor through the student’s current Dean and Head of Department.
- The receiving department must confirm that the applicant meets the entry requirements for the new programme.

The university has emphasized that certain departments will not be accepting transfers during this application cycle. These include:
