The Student Union Government (SUG) of Abia State University (ABSU), has launched a monumental initiative dubbed "Operation Wash All Tanks". Spearheaded by the Director of Welfare, Comr. Onuoha Felix, this operation aims to sanitize the university's central water supply system comprehensively.

According to Comr. Ohanusi Victor, the SUG Public Relations Officer, this initiative is set to commence this Sunday being 23rd June 2024 and promises to be massive in scale. "Cleanliness is next to Godliness," affirmed Victor, underlining the importance of maintaining hygienic conditions in the campus water infrastructure.
