The Management of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, formerly Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, has acknowledged the concerns of graduating students regarding the delay in processing their results. Some students, affected by the delay, had planned to protest, citing difficulties in meeting requirements for the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

In response to this, the university administration appeals to the affected students, emphasizing that the delay was not intentional but rather a result of technical challenges encountered during the processing of results. It assures students that the technical issues have been successfully resolved.

The university explains that the processing of results was scheduled for consideration by the Committee of Deans and Directors. However, due to the ongoing national strike by the Nigerian Labour Congress, the meeting had to be postponed. Once the strike is called off, the university plans to expedite the remaining processes, including forwarding the results to the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), to ensure the affected students can be mobilized for the NYSC program in the upcoming service year.

The university management urges graduating students to remain calm and refrain from taking matters into their own hands, assuring them that their concerns are receiving utmost attention. The university expresses regret for any inconvenience caused by the delay and reaffirms its commitment to resolving the issue promptly.
