Bayero University Kano Urges Peace Amid Nationwide Protest

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has issued a statement urging peace and calm as normal academic and administrative activities are set to continue amid the planned nationwide protest starting Thursday, August 1, 2024. The university management has assured the community that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of lives and property across all campuses.

In a special bulletin released on Monday, July 29, 2024, the management advised staff and students to remain peaceful, calm, and law-abiding. The bulletin emphasized that any attempts to disrupt the peaceful environment would be met with stern action.
