Borno State University To Adhere To Procurement Act

According to a report monitored by myschoolnews,The Vice Chancellor, Borno State University Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe has reiterated commitment of the university to ensure strict adherence to the Borno State procurement act in all its dealings.

The VC stated this on Wednesday during a paper presentation on 'Procurement Procedure Guidelines and understanding the Borno state public procurement law held at the University's council chamber. 

The presentation was made by the Director General, Bureau for Public Procurement, Borno State, Musa Mustapha Zarma.

The VC stressed importance of the paper presentation and enjoined management staff to pay at most attention so as to benefit from it. Professor Sandabe, thanked the DG, Malam Musa Mustapha Zarma, for accepting its short notice invitation and hoped that, such interactive sessions shall hold from time to time. 

In an introductory remarks, BOSU's Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Mohammed Musa said, the session was organized to make members of management abreast of the Borno State Procurement laws. 

New Director Procurement, BOSU, Malam Rufa'i Baba Ahmed delivered the vote of thanks with a call on the DG to make copies of the act available to the University for guidance and compliance.
