BUK Expels 29 Students, Rusticates 3, and Exonerates 3 for Exam Misconduct
The Senate of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has expelled 29 students, rusticated 3, and warned 15 others for examination misconduct, according to a statement signed by the Ag. Director, Directorate of Examinations, Admissions and Records, Aminu Wada Kurawa.

The decision was made at the 413th Senate meeting on July 3, 2024, in accordance with the General Examinations and Academic Regulations (GEAR) and the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies (GRGPS).

The expelled students' names were listed, along with their registration numbers and programs.

Three students were rusticated for one or two semesters, while three others were exonerated due to insufficient evidence of examination misconduct.
