The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) management extends warm regards to all JUPEB students whose admission status still displays "Admission in Progress" on our university portal.

We understand the concern and frustration that may accompany such a situation. Rest assured, the admissions unit is diligently working to resolve this issue with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as swiftly as possible.

However, it's important to note that until the admission status is confirmed, affected students cannot be considered officially enrolled in the university. Consequently, they are ineligible to participate in the ongoing first semester exams, in accordance with our institution's policies and guidelines.

We recognize the inconvenience this may cause and empathize with affected students. Therefore, we assure them that once their admission status is finalized, they will be granted the opportunity to make up for missed coursework during the first semester examinations. These makeup exams will be treated as their first attempt, with no penalties or carry-over implications.
