Dr. Victoria Pillah has been appointed as the new Board Chairman of Akperan Orshi College of Agriculture Yandev (AOCOY). Dr. Pillah's appointment marks yet another milestone in her illustrious career, which has been defined by a series of pioneering accomplishments.
Dr. Pillah, a renowned agricultural specialist, has an impressive track record that includes being the first woman of Tiv extraction to serve as President of the Catholic Women's Organization (CWO) at the Catholic Pro-Cathedral in Abuja, and the first woman to be nominated by the National Universities Commission (NUC) as Secretary for a presidential visitation panel to Federal Universities in Nigeria. Her academic journey is equally remarkable; she was the first in her family to earn a university degree and a PhD, making significant strides in her field.
With over 27 years of experience in academic planning and a reputation for excellence, Dr. Pillah's contributions extend beyond academia. Her research on the MUKUNA plant has revolutionized poultry feed, offering a cost-effective and nutritious alternative for poultry farmers.
