EBSU Issues Directive on GST Registration and CBT Exams
Ebonyi State University has given a directive to its students for GST course registration and CBT exams, emphasizing mandatory requirements for all students across levels.
In a recent directive from the Ebonyi State University (EBSU) management, all students are advised to take note of the following important updates regarding GST registration and CBT examinations for the 2023/2024 academic session:
1. GST Course Registration for 100 Level Students:
- First Semester: Students are required to register for GST 111 (Communication in English, 2 units) and EBSU-GST 105 (Introduction to Igbo Language and Culture I, 1 unit).
- Second Semester: Registration should include GST 112 (Nigerian Peoples and Culture, 2 units) and EBSU-GST 108 (Introduction to Igbo Language and Culture II, 1 unit).

2. Requirement for GST CBT Examinations:
- It is mandatory for all students to complete payment of school fees and online registration for GST courses to be eligible for GST CBT examinations. This applies to students across all levels, including those retaking GST courses.

3. Rewriting Failed GST Courses:
- Students who have previously failed any of the following GST courses: GST 101, 102, 103, 105, 104, 106, 107, 108, or GST 222 are required to rewrite and pass these courses. It's important to note that EBSU-GST 105 or 108 is not equivalent to GST 105 or 108.
