Federal College of Education Technical Gombe Hosts SIWES Orientation Exercise for NCE II Students

The Directorate of Education Support Services at the Federal College of Education Technical Gombe, in collaboration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), organized a one-day Students' Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) orientation exercise for Part II students of the College.

The event, held on August 12, 2024, was declared open by the College Librarian, Alh. Shehu Yusuf Aliyu, representing the College Provost, Dr. Ali Adamu Boderi. The occasion was attended by members of the College management, Deans, Directors, Deputy Registrars, and other stakeholders.

The ITF Gombe Area Manager was represented by the Principal Training Development Officer, Alhaji Ahmed Adamu Ardo.

The objectives of the orientation exercise include:

- Introducing students to the industry

The SIWES program aims to provide students with practical work experience, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practice.
