Federal University Dutse (FUD) has announced the suspension of all scheduled lectures and academic activities due to the ongoing national protest. This directive comes after a review of the current situation in Jigawa State and across the country.

In a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar, Abubakar Mijinyawa, the university had previously adjusted the resumption date for students from July 29 to August 5, 2024. However, with the continued unrest, the university management has decided to suspend all academic activities until normalcy returns.
