The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has appointed Mr. Ahmed Mu'azu as the University's new Transport Officer following the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye.

The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has appointed Mr. Ahmed Mu'azu as the University's new Transport Officer following the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye.

According to the University, the appointment took effect on June 24, 2026, and forms part of efforts to strengthen the institution's transport system and enhance service delivery across the University community.

While presenting the appointment, the Vice-Chancellor charged Mr. Mu'azu to justify the confidence reposed in him by demonstrating professionalism, diligence, integrity, accountability and an unwavering commitment to duty.

Professor Ibileye stressed that an efficient transport system remains critical to the smooth operation of the University and urged the new Transport Officer to ensure the institution continues to provide reliable transport services without disruptions.

Responding after receiving his appointment letter, Mr. Mu'azu expressed appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor and the University Management for the opportunity to serve.

He described the appointment as a call to greater responsibility and pledged to discharge his duties with diligence, professionalism and integrity.

The University expressed confidence that the appointment would further strengthen the management and coordination of its transport services in support of teaching, research and other institutional activities.
