The attention of the Management of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) has been drawn to a fake and mischievous job vacancies purported to be released by the OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR and published in some unidentified Social Media platforms by impostors.

The attention of the Management of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) has been drawn to a fake and mischievous job vacancies purported to be released by the OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR and published in some unidentified Social Media platforms by impostors.

For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to inform the teeming job-seekers, parents and the general public that the purported advertisement on the ill-intended banner headline: "ADVERTISEMENT FOR VACANCIES" along with the "name and logo of the University bearing the name of the Registrar of the University as signatory" are fake, ill-intended and should be discountenanced forthwith.

The public should be reminded that employment into FUTIA shall be duly publicised through advertorials in the print and verified social media channels of FUTIA, in addition to placement on the Institution's website.

The general public is hereby advised to always cross check all advertised employment opportunities from relevant authorities.
