FIRS Commends UCH for Exemplary Tax Compliance

A delegation from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) paid a courtesy visit to the management of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the hospital’s boardroom.

The team, led by Dr. Mustapha Akaje, Director of the Government Business Department, FIRS, commended the hospital for its consistent compliance with all tax payment regulations. Dr. Akaje and his team gave a standing ovation to the hospital management in recognition of its exemplary record and outstanding reputation.

Responding, the Chief Medical Director of UCH, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, represented by the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, Professor Olubukola Adesina, expressed gratitude to the FIRS team for recognizing the hospital’s commitment to tax compliance. He reassured them of the hospital’s continued dedication to fulfilling all tax obligations.
