In 2022, Chelsea’s life was upended overnight. Then a medical student in Ukraine, she was forced to flee the country as a refugee, leaving behind her education and the life she had built. Despite the trauma of displacement and the uncertainty of her academic future, she refused to abandon her childhood dream of practicing medicine.

A New Beginning in Georgia

Demonstrating unwavering resolve, Chelsea successfully transferred her studies to Georgian National University (SEU). The transition required not only academic adaptation but the mental fortitude to restart in a new country while processing the impact of the conflict.
