FRSC Ogunmakin Command Pays Courtesy Visit to McPherson University Vice‑Chancellor to Strengthen Institutional Collaboration
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogunmakin Command paid a courtesy visit to the Vice‑Chancellor of McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, Professor Francis Igbasan, on Thursday, 28 November 2025. The visit aimed to reinforce partnership with the university and advance community‑safety initiatives.
The delegation was led by Unit Commander Assistant Corps Commander (ACC) PD Gogomi and included Unit Head of Operations OA Adeleye, Clinic Head Corporal Technician (CT) Folarin, newly posted medical officer ACI Israel Abiolú, and Head of the Special Marshal Unit of McPherson University Dr. Paul Ojo.
ACC Gogomi explained that the visit aligned with the Corps Marshal’s directive encouraging FRSC commands to seek host‑community support for equipping the Sheu Mohammed RTC Clinic in Ogunmakin — particularly the provision of essential medical equipment to facilitate full operations of the newly deployed medical staff.
The Vice‑Chancellor commended the FRSC team for their dedication to road safety and emergency response in surrounding communities and acknowledged the longstanding partnership between the Corps and the university. He pledged to review the formal request for medical equipment and assured continued university support for initiatives enhancing community wellbeing and public safety.
Unit Head of Operations OA Adeleye thanked the Vice‑Chancellor for the warm reception and reaffirmed the FRSC’s commitment to collaborating with McPherson University on traffic management and related operational areas.
The visit concluded with renewed pledges from both parties to strengthen collaboration in promoting safety, community health support and operational synergy between McPherson University and the FRSC Ogunmakin Command.
