1. Minimum SSCE/GCE Credits
Candidates aspiring to gain admission into FUTA through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must meet the following criteria:

- A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level, obtained in a maximum of 2 sittings.
- Correctly choose the JAMB subject combination relevant to their desired course.
2. JAMB UTME Score
To be offered admission into FUTA, candidates must score at least 180 in the recently concluded JAMB UTME examination. This score serves as a gateway to the university’s diverse academic programs.
3. First Choice of Institution
FUTA must be the first choice of institution for all applicants. This preference ensures alignment with the university’s admission policies.

Candidates must be 16 years old to be eligible for admission.
