The Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, has announced the winners of the Innovation Week 2024 Awards, focused on Food Security and Food Safety.

The ceremony marked the culmination of the university's efforts to promote innovative solutions in the agricultural sector.
Emmanuel Victoria of Sokvikia Enterprises, Lokoja, Kogi State, took home the star prize of N1 million for her project, Victech Solar Klin, recognized for its excellence in food security and safety.

Musa Ali Pashi of Palmark Syndicate, Bayo, Borno State, secured the first runner-up prize of N750,000 for his project on Processing Tomatoes.
Ariyo Adefolarin David, a master's student in Telecommunication Engineering at FUT, Minna, won the third position and a prize of N500,000 for his project, Save Yam.
The awards ceremony highlighted the innovative solutions presented during the Innovation Week, showcasing the potential for impact in the food security and safety sector.
