The Muslim Ummah of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT MINNA), convened a special Post-Ramadan Lecture on March 28, 2026, at the Bosso Campus. The event aimed to inspire the university community to maintain the spiritual momentum and virtues cultivated during the holy month of Ramadan.

Delivering the keynote lecture, "From Fasting to Lasting: Transforming Ramadan Blessings into Lifelong Habits," Dr. Muhammad Jimoh Adisa emphasized that Ramadan serves as a rigorous training ground for character development. Dr. Adisa, the Second Imam of IBB University, Lapai, urged congregants to move beyond temporary abstinence toward permanent discipline and God-consciousness (Taqwa).

The Acting Chairman of the Muslim Ummah, Prof. Oladiran K. Abubakre, described the session as a vital follow-up to the Ramadan Tafsir programs, designed to ensure that the lessons of the month translate into long-term behavioral change.

Echoing these sentiments, the Chief Imam of the University, Dr. Bashir A. Yankuzo, identified Taqwa (piety), steadfastness, and certainty as the essential pillars for accepted acts of worship. Furthermore, Prof. Yusuf A. Kabir highlighted the central role of prayer as a constant anchor in a Muslim’s life, regardless of the season.

The lecture concluded with a collective call for Muslims within the academic community to ensure their spiritual lives reflect the profound lessons of Ramadan throughout the remainder of the year.
