Lilian Iheukwumere-Esotu, a distinguished figure in the field of engineering and currently serving as the Asset Management Strategy Implementation Lead at National Gas, UK, is set to headline the upcoming "Navigating Engineering" panel event in London on July 30th. This event, organized by the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE), promises to delve into her journey towards achieving Chartered Engineer status and the pivotal role of Professional Registration in the engineering sector.

Lilian's academic and professional journey is marked by significant achievements and contributions to the field. She earned her first degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2015 on a fully funded government scholarship.

Here, she pursued a Master’s degree in Reliability Engineering and Asset Management at the University of Manchester, where she later completed her PhD in 2022 from the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering. Her doctoral research focused on applying Reliability Engineering tools to enhance outcomes in industrial maintenance projects and Uncertainty Management, resulting in several peer-reviewed publications.
